There was no wait they got us seated very quickly. I got the Yucatan burrito it was huge and delicious the chips and salsa are so yummy, service is great and the food came out fast. Definitely recommend eating here.
El Lago aka The Lake has reopened !! Still #1 as Nixa's best Mexican restaurant. Updated decor, food is even better in my foodie opinion. It still is Excellent all around, service is great. Chips are like Chilis, salsa is perfect blend. Food quality, pricing and portion is great.

Love El Lago. 3 locations Nixa, Branson and Branson West...I’ve been to all three. I am a burrito freak and when eating Mexican food that’s all I ever order. El Lago serves warm tortilla chips and has an amazing Salsa! I get the Burrito plate that has one chicken and one beef burrito. Good stuff! I prefer the Branson West location because it’s near Branson but still far enough away to avoid the crazy traffic during high season

We love El Lago. We used to go to the Branson West location, so we are thrilled the Nixa location is now open. The service is fast and the food is always delicious. Hands down, it's our favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff are always courteous and friendly too.
